To include coons, skunks, coyotes and foxes. Not to exclude feral dogs and hogs and cats. Possibly to include free roaming pets also. My area is crawling with all of the above and I am thinking about starting a business taking problem animals out. Any ideas or comments.

You will need to live near a high density population of people that have a little spending money. Most rural people are smart enough to take care of the problem themselves, or have friends that can. Also make sure that you can deliver on your promises. Trapping as a business can be a different game from trapping as a hobby. Not sure what the cost is, but there are nuisance animal removal franchises available.

Check out Tx. Trappers Assn. site. We have a list going and you could talk to somebody that does it.

I'll have to check out the website, just for curiousity sake. We had a list in our State. It was basically to be a tool that would endear the trapper as a friend to those in need. Also could be used as a way to get one's "foot in the door" to permission for trapping on private land. All the calls that I had which originated from my name being on there, were people that did not own any land, and did not want to spend any money. I had one call from a lady wanting snakes removed from her basement. Had another call from a State Game Warden wanting me to diagnose and eliminate a problem where calves were being killed. I drove a long way to solve the problem and never got as much as a thanks from the farmer or game warden. I like to help people, but unfortunately, my truck doesn't run for free. Point of all this is I think the list of trappers may not create any jingle in the OP's pocket.
