never saw him shoot. Was told he was an unbelievable shot with a pistol. As to his service and exploits, the few times we talked between say 74 and 85, he never mentioned his exploits or service. Only heard it through my dad who was close with his dad.

Yes, that is correct. But I think H&K likes to flute lots of chambers.

This is the (I think) original iteration. The mag release is on the bottom not unlike the MK 1 Rugers. After that was the M8 which has H&K's [bleep] up not-a-button type mag release. After that was the double stack M13 and I have been told there is an M10 that is the 40 cal version.

I don't know much about them but always wanted to try one. I know the one shrapnel has was bustin' not so large rocks at 80yds off hand. The trigger on them is pretty amazing.
