ingwe, while not an AI, my .222 has about 8000 rds down the bore.. some wear, but not much throat erosion.. I feel Iceman is pretty close with 10,000+.. A friend put 12,000 down his 222 then had it rechambered to 223 and was still shooting it last I heard.. He shot a lot of p. dogs with it also.
