Watched a competitor fire in our state matches this weekend. 3 days of shooting which meant appx 200 rounds fired or so.
Never saw him have a hangup in rapid fire strings which was more than I can say for others with 223s....
I"m sure that everything must be right on them just as it has to be with a 223 upper though.
Jeff
should have added, 243wssm.

We can keep Larry Root and all his idiotic blabber and user names on here, but we can't get Ralph back..... Whiskey Tango Foxtrot, over....

Feed and function on the WSSM's is very reliable. I have shot thousands of rounds through all three of the WSSM's and when there is a feed and fuction problem, it's normally a hand-loading issue. The brass is about twice as thick as a normal case. Couple that with the huge diameter, and you have a challenging case to re-size.
The key to the reliability is the fact that they feed from both feed-lips on the magazine. There is no where for the case to go. By the time the bolt has pushed the case out of the feed-lips, the bullet and neck are already in the chamber.
There is a very fine line between "Hobby" and "Mental illness"
