They are not the best, not the worst. I would say they on par with Bushmaster, Stag, Rock River, etc... Not quite the level of quality of Daniel Defense, Colt, BCM etc...

How much they want for a Windham these days? If near $1110 maybe buy a better rifle for a few dollars more.

The one I am looking at is snow camo, used, less than 100 rounds. $999

Sounds a bit high for an entry winter rifle, especially for $120 more to get a NIB with a lifetime factory warrenty in your name. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=376319121If the snow camo is the attraction, then you are limited by over-counter-options, if it's having an AR, there are probably better values for the same money. These are newer models, as of last year in December, so the used price is probably being asked because of limited options in the new and used markets from the panic buys.

Good rifle overall. Trigger would be my only complaint.

The one I am looking at is snow camo, used, less than 100 rounds. $999 If you shop carefully, you can put together an AR-15 for around half that: $300 for complete new upper (I've seen that price two different times in the last few weeks from a reputable company), $60+FFL fee for "blemished" lower, and $80 for lower build kit (lower parts kit plus all stock components). Granted, resale value for a "parts" gun isn't going to be the same as a "name" brand like Windham, but double is a lot to pay for POTENTIAL resale value. For the money you would save by building a gun, you would have a lot of options for camo, including DIY.

Earlier this year I gave $700 to PSA for one of their carbines and it has been a fine rifle so far.

From shooting and looking over a varmint model I had for a bit, I'd say they're better than current bushmasters or DPMS. It was well put together. While the trigger was better than a run of the mill milspec kit, it was still not good enough for a varmint/target rig. They do seem to be decent buys, for what you get. I still build better for less, but the gun ran and was accurate.

Krylon plastic fusion with a little Krylon webbing paint for the 24HRCF touch. It wears well and is cheap.
