I recently picked up an almost NIB 336 35 rem and since. I replaced the hammer spring and latch spring with the cowboy action set. I also picked up a Wild West Trigger and my question is. Do I have to have a gunsmith install it or can it be done by me? Never changed the trigger in one. Also, will this trigger be ok for hunting purposes or wil lit be too light?

You can easily install it yourself.

Whether it will b etoo light for hunting is up to you. I have one in my Malrin 375 (.375Win) and love it. It goes hunting.

Thanks guys!...I installed it the other day along with a new Hammer Spring and Latch Spring. What a differance and the trigger is so sweet. Gave me a whole new feel to the 1973, 336 35!! Performed perfect on the range with the Leverevolutions this morning!!
