I had a great day out in the hills. Found a nice set of Mule deer sheds while glassing on a stand. After it was over I went down and picked them up. They were about 5 feet apart.

On the 4th stand, I got a nice male in at 195 yards. 55 Vmax in the 223AI took care of him nicely.

Shockwave and Sheds !! What a combo with a coyote smile

Then I found this nice buck bedded down on the North Face smile

Pic was taken thru my Leica Vector IV's with my iphone 4S

Got the buck found in the bino's
put the iphone tight to extended eye piece and move left and right and up and down till I got the buck in FOV, took pic.
gets easier and faster every time smile

I find it lots easier to use my iphone with the phone Skope on the spotter or bino's then it is to use a real digital camera

Works well when you get your crappy iPhone 4S fixed. Right, Scott?

Buffalo, WY? I'm jealous. Wife and I have been there several times in the past few years. Love the area.

Nice pics and how are the cottontail numbers on your side?

Thanks all....

John,

They are on the rise for sure. Seeing lots of them actually. Most culverts and cattle guards have tracks all around them. Not to mention every methane hut ya go by.

Plenty of Jacks everywhere too.

Scott,

Great pics.

And glad to hear that the cottontails are coming back. Fun to shoot and great to eat.
