For some reason, the octagon 222 and the 10" 7 TCU are treated as stepchildren by the aficionados... or everyone already has them?
I'm a big believer in both of the rounds but I think a lot of us want a little more tube to realize a better pressure curve.

222's in general go for bargain prices, but I like mine and it was the ugliest barrel I ever bought.

It is too short to turn into a 222 Rem Mag Imp. However, I have three 223's and that is at least one too many.

But, my days of wildcats and supporting Mike are behind me. But, I never regretted one cent I spent on his work.
