Hello i have a hard to find 036 QS its the same power head and same class as the 036 pro. The QS has a break that is operated by the handle trigger and/or the hand kick back break. When ya let off the trigger the break engages. Its a really safe saw if your in a bucket or climbing and use a bigger saw then its really hard to beat IMO. Or on the ground works great. Saw has maybe 30 hrs on it if that. I ran 3 compression test on it and with my gauge you just hold it in the plug hole it don't screw in. cant find my screw in gauge but the lowest i got was 153 which i wrote it on the case. i got 158 and 159. The saw fires right up and runs like a top. runs just like it did the day it was new. Oils like a charm its a very good saw that flat cuts. Its got a new 18in bar and chain. It has the normal scratches from use but the saw is not beat up and has not been abused in any way. I use quality oil mix and bar. I mix 40:1 i all ways run a little more oil then what they say. You can use the stihl 3/8 pro chain on it. Please ask any questions and i will answer them. the pic suck it don't do the saw justice at all. I'm going to take a few more pic in the day light plus a short video of it running and cutting. I'm asking 375.00 shipped i would do some trading as well. rifle, handgun, scope,AR Ace skeleton stock with buffer tube, spring, buffer. (The long stock)Good AR trigger. AR mags 10,20 or 30rd. Thats just some of the things i could use now or down the road. Let me know what ya got to trade. I will trade straight up or your trade and cash for the rest. I would like to move it as quick as i can.

That's a dang good saw. I'm not needing one, but I can get a comparable Stihl or Husky new for not much more money.Around $450.00

I love my 036 Pro! I have also seen these up around the $600 mark, new. Good luck with your sale. I was just through El Darado Sunday smile.

Thanks guys. the new stihls are not near the saw the German made saws are. I have seen this first hand. There made in America now and really sad to say they are not made near like they were.

The EPA regulations have ruined the newer saws. They run too lean and are not adjustable or have very limited adjustments! Good luck with your sale. If I were in the market for a saw, this one would be gone.

I seem to recall the 036 being very similar to the 361 in the pro lineup, both great heavy-duty saws that run hard and run well. I have a 361 that is simply a beast, but super reliable and easy to start. Seems like a great product at a good price. Good luck with the sale deerhunterj.
