Have killed Black Bears bigger than that(with hair)....................

That's the measurement we got 8'10" tip of nose to tip of tail.
He's 8'4" width (claw to claw) Salted.... I'm 6'3" 245 lbs. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/help.gif" alt="" />

There;s the little arm and big arm of the bay South of Hidden Basin. That is where this bear was shot. I forget the name of the mtn. I shot my goat on but the corral that held the first captive goatS on Kodiak is on this outfitters area. My goat unfortunately took a nose dive off the mtn. after it was shot <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />

You can tell alot about a persons upbringing by what they write. Good parents generally tell their children if you don't have anything nice to say say nothing at all. Some kids are able to grasp that concept others are just too inept and stay that way in many aspects of their lives.

I said there's ZERO chance the rat pictured,is 8'10". Mentioned in passing,that I've killed Blackies bigger than that cub.



I've no doubt,my Blackie in the green,flopped on the ground and less ANY tuggin' or pullin',would surpass the rubbed rat pictured in squared dimensioning.

i could care less how big his bear really is, just wanted to see if you had any pics of a bear that size...so far you don't. didn't expect to see any either, just wanted to see how you'd crawl outa dissin' on something you ain't got.

What's up Stick? Spent all day out on the water for a bunch of dink halibut... Looked good for kings but it was blowing a steady 25 and I had a boat load full of kids. I was chasing tangles and baiting hooks for most of the day.

Forced myself to have a Reloading Day and made good headway. Sister is in tall cotton,I hammered out a bunch of 25-284 stuff and replenished the 7-08 larder,as well as the 25-06AI stash and a big buncha 308.

'Bout time to have a toddy,fasten the seatbelt and hop on the Dillon and go 223AI crazy.

Marine forcast sucks for the next 5 days. I have charters mon & tues so i'm going to spend sunday rigging gear and sharpening hooks for the season.

If you are up for some bear hunting, i'm game.. tonight might just be my last night to get a bear this spring.

Big Momma has dinner plans and I'm gonna pound on the Reloading and get way ahead of myself,for the next break.

Don't know if Bill and KT are gonna hit the Hidey Hole or not? Someone should,with the hot Sow in that neighborhood.

Damn that was one big blackie! The top of his noggin looks like it was spit, sort of like the bosses on a cape buff.

You've set the standard with that one, wish I'd seen those pictures before I headed over there. I do recall you posting them before, but had forgotten.

I'm guessing some folks are having a hard time with simply being told the truth. Not every bear shot is a 10footer, or sporting a perfect hide. That shouldn't detract from having a good time hunting.

Here's a brownie a buddy of mine took that barely made 7ft. Gotta admit, we didn't stretch it on a wall, just tugged it out straight on the shore...

Hell there's no shame in having a helluva good time,that's what it's ALL about. Not every trip is gonna yield the new #1 B&C entry and that's a fact of life.

I'd have never said [bleep],if the 8'10" ruse hadn't been used and if a guy wants a nice even rub,more power to him.

My scanner puked and most my good pictures are on 35mm..........................

I still haven't seen a picture of a brown bear Little Dick???
