Can you catch brown trout fishing the same methods as steelhead?

Don't have Steelhead so I can't compare, but Browns are predators and yet wary.
Lure that is too flashy or bright and you an actually scare them away.
Brown, bronze seem to be colors that work a subtle touch of red seems to improve it a tad.
Some spelling errors can be corrected by a vowel movement. ~ MOLON LABE ~

Browns can be caught using the same techniques. I catch them all the time from stocker 8" to 30" using flashy and bright colored lures. They are very aggressive fish and are opportunistic feeders in swift current.

Not sure the methods are the same, but when I'm fishing for big browns I'm in Rapala Husky Jerk mode. Wild fish from the tail race of a hydro electric plant makes for some nice fighting fish..
