No, Brad, you worked for a podunk operation that is now out of business. Was it Bozeman or Missoula?

ANOTHER out of business company...

Guys, I'm not the "jackazz" here, and neither is Jerry.

Bad business, broomd, GOES OUT of BUSINESS. See: I.D. Now, Wiggy's sells more sleeping bags in a year than ALL the other manufacturers COMBINED, that retail for more than $100.

I'm done with this thread. You juveniles have fun. You can't handle truth.

Some people see the glass half full, others see half empty,

And I'm just not seeing the negativity in Marc's statement.

Marc, I worked with Jerry a lot longer ago than you ... try 1998.

I'm well aware of his persona.

Anyone with marginal googlefu can figure out what sort of person he is.

As to his products, well... crappy sort of describes them.

Talk to those who tried getting a refund for their bags for poor loft/overstated temp ratings etc. when wiggy handled "customer relations" and you'll start to see the glass was not only over flowing but had lots of flies buzzing around it. Also, considering how few women grace our forums it is fairly obvious where marc is coming from wrt his colder sleeping comment.

As I stated, I've kept the bag and use it in a role that it will work well in, just not what it was intended for, that being in my backpack. I'd rather carry a lighter and warmer bag that leaves room for other sundry things, like clothes and food.

I had no clue W's was such a bone of contention around here.... guess I've always used what I regarded as superior products and not given Wiggy's much thought.
Not hatin', they just haven't met my UL needs.

I wouldnt say wiggy's gear was a bone of contention. Rarely does the subject come up. But when it does, it's always entertaining. This isn't even a thread about wiggy's gear and it's entertaining.

Point is, every time someone around here asks a question about a synthetic sleeping bag, Marc Taylor has to show up, bad mouth everything, while simultaneously pimping Wiggy's.

I've been around Wiggy's a lot longer than Marc... they're terrific car camping bags. That's being generous.

I've got you by ten years, Brad. Wiggy bags appeared at 1st Bn, 2d Marines, S.T.A. Platoon in 1988, off the books, as a light alternative to our monstrous issue bags.

I left it there when I became an instructor, so NO, I don't still have the bag. I'm sure you'd ask for a picture.

So you're wrong again. By ten years. Just to continue with keeping the information in this thread ACCURATE.

NOW, I'm done with this thread. Well, maybe...

My point was I was retailing Wiggys LONG before you. Have dealt with the owner, who is the most abrasive, obnoxious person I've ever dealt with.

And the other point is you constantly badmouth other products while obviously being blind to the shortcomings of what you pimp$...

You and Wigutow deserve each other. No wonder you like working with him...

I recall a thread at Backpacker.com a few years back,

Jerry Wigutow was basically taking on the entire forum membership single handily,

Those infamous 300 Spartans never even faced such odds.

I wonder if Wiggy is an axe fan?

His bags hold up, and that is more than I can say for any other synthetic bag, military or otherwise, I've used.

Dumbazz, you think 79% humidity is the same amount of moisture at minus ten as it is a 50F?

Sir, could you please provide (via PM) your home address, so I can mail to you the invoice for my dry cleaning bill as a result of your above comment.

Kind regards

Hello, would you please tell me what brands you sell or make so that I can avoid purchasing any of your products.
