Mike Barranti finished my holster. Perfection! It's a tight fit, I was panicked at first. But leather will work in and it will slide in and out no problem. It fits with precision. He must have a 4-3/4" FA revolver on hand to get it this close!

He also made me a leather 6 shot shell holder that matches with an embossed bear track as well.

That looks really nice. I especially like the covered trigger. I think it would be nice if the front of the holster came up high enough with a tab of leather to protect the rear sight. Regardless, that is good looking leather!

Cool, cut for the draw but has a covered trigger. Never seen that pattern. Got a cartridge belt for it?

Redneck,

That's cause you know the artwork that's under the leather!

That's VERY nice. To break it is, I like to wrap my gun in wax paper and force it into the holster. It allows expansion of the holster but only a few thou at a time.

Again, VERY nice!!

Mike Barranti is the Michael Jordan of holster makers, I have several & they are works of art. I'll be carrying a Northwest Hunter tomorrow into the Arizona desert, tucked away under my sleeve less vest, you forget you are even packing a full size sixgun. JJ, you'll love that rig.

That is an exceptional piece of leather work there. I dig the paw print.

Thanks, that paw print matches the paws engraved into the cylinder! The shell holder also has that same paw print only smaller.

Does your FA have the (somewhat) high fire sight too? It looks like your holster has a deeper muzzle cut to accept that front sight.

When I ordered the EPS rig for mine I sent them a note and a pic showing that front sight to ensure they make enough room for it.. Don told me they'd do it right - and they did, very nicely..

Yes I have the fiber optic sight. But it's height is not enough different to be a holster issue.
