REQUIRE ONLY ammo purchased from them that day can be used?? I normally shoot at outdoor ranges and shoot my own handloads, I went to TWO differant indoor ranges and BOTH told me that B.S. was a REQUIRED factor in maintaining thier INSHURANCE COVERAGE, neither would allow ammo not purchased from them that day to be used at the range!
THATS TOTAL BULL $&*** in my opinion simply designed to boost THIER profit margin...both charge $17 for a box of 50 45acp reloads, I have THOUSANDS of loaded cartridges but they are not allowed on the range.... whats your opinion??

I know nothing about insurance, but I do know that some bullet traps are damaged by high power handgun loads.
It's kind of like not being able to take your own popcorn to a movie. They own the theater, they make the rules. If it's a private range, you take what they offer. If you don't like their rules, you can join or start a club where you can vote on what goes on.

The range I go to requires their ammo be used on rental guns, no restrictions otherwise. They also have six lanes that will take up to .300 Win. magnum.
