Talleys, low with levers, VX 2 3-9 #4 German on a M70 SS. Back up scope is a 4X M8 with heavy duplex, same rings.

Leupold two piece dual dovetail bases, Burris signature rings and a Leupold Vari XII 2x7. I'm shooting my reloads with RL-15 and the Barnes 270 Gr. TSX bullet. With this load I'm good for anything from Impala to Cape Buffalo. I have a 416 Rigby for Elephants.

2.5-8x36 matte Leupold in a set of low Talley QD's, firing the 270 gr TSX's at 2800 fps, perfect combo imho.

The Number One has a 1.5-5x Leupold, and of course the Ruger sights. JB filed the brass bead to about a 45 degree angle. Works great. I have no idea why a mule deer & black bear hunter has a .375, let alone two of them, but I do. I like the cartridge. Guy

Alright, here's my old tired rifle. Set up a couple different ways: Leupold QRW'S and leupold steel bases: The VX3 1.5-5 didn't have enough magnification for my tastes, so I upped the x's a bit (Zeiss 3.5-10x44): I also believe the 375 needs cross bolts so I got a different stock (even though the original was nicer). This is a stronger stock and will not crack out like the original did: I also decided to chit can the QRW's and go with the permanent mount PRW's...Still using the same steel bases, but different rings.. This set-up seems to be very rock solid:
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

My 375 is a very similar modern copy of the Alaskan in a previous post.
I have a new 375 Alaskan, with Talley low QD's. I have a Zeiss HD5 3-15 with the lock turrets on it. It's setup as a do everything rifle. I will eventually buy a wide backup scope if I ever get a chance at Africa or something, but right now, the 3 power on this scope is about the same as it is on the Leupold 2.5-8 that has been so successful for so many people, and I can use 10x on the scope and have the eye relief very generous.
The 15x I have found useful at the range, so overall, the package is really flexible. But it depends on what you have planned for the rifle. Like I said, mine is a 'one gun for all' solution, but your vision might be different.

BSA, a lot of folks have no idea the .375 is so doggone accurate.
I like that rifle.

Thanks Guy. I like your rifles too. We'll both be ready if there's ever an out break of wild elephants in the PNW

Open sights at 100yds today. Next time, a 2.5x8x32 zeiss will be applied. Talley steel QR rings. The felt recoil isn't bad, this was my first time ever behind a .375. Very pleased with the rifle, and fine gentleman who sold it to me TDN.

I don't use the 375 as a dangerous game rifle, so I scope it with a 2x12 VX6, to take advantage of the 375's range capabilities.

I've never shot the 375 H&H, only a 375 Weatherby and it was terrible. How would the H&H compare as for recoil?

With Leupold VX-III 1.5 to 5 on those horrible windage adjustable mounts that never varied in 2000 shots.
