Ha! Wow, that's legit! I thought that it was going to be tongue in cheek.

I miss Oz. I spent 6 weeks in New South Wales everywhere from Taree to Sydney to Canberra.

The War Memorial in Canberra was one of the most amazing places I've seen.

I thought whitetail deer were a problem to drivers. Just wait until you've seen a car that has collided with a 10' tall Red. eek

Been living down here for the past year and a half and truly enjoying it. Unfortunately the assignment has ended and we will be leaving in June.

I made a friend on another site that lives in OZ. He calls me to bs every now and then. Says it's because I'm the only American he knows that can understand what he's saying. smile
I'll admit it's challenging at times but for some reason I've always had a knack for deciphering accents.

He sent me a couple of demo trapping CD's a friend of his is trying to market. It's amazing how many feral dogs you guys have over there.
The guy that made the CD's is quite a character but a very good trapper. I wouldn't mind having a beer or two with him.

The dogs are out of control, you can drive up on a dam and 20 of the bastards will run off it.

The common version of that in NSW was "I could eat the crutch out of a rag doll".

Battered, I've always gone with; "I'm so hungry I could eat the arse out of a low flying duck". Just goes to show the rich cultural diversity in 'straya!
