What would happen if someone used a 7 volt power adaper on a digital camera that originaly used a 3volt one?
I'm not considering doing it, just wondering...

How much do you like the smell of cooking circuitry? The adapters are set up not only for voltage, but amperage and polarity. You get any of them wrong and the results will be anything from the camera not working to the camera becoming a paperweight.

What would happen is that someone would make some money selling you a new camera. You'd probably cook it in seconds.
