Is there a good way to print from Google maps? Anyone do it for an area map? Black, and white, color?

Look out for number 1, don't step in number 2.

I can tell you its easy with Firefox. I can't speak for other browsers. Locate the place on Maps that you want & zoom to the level you want. In the upper left corned of the brower, click on the orange firefox button. Select print - preview to see what it will print. Adjust your settings as needed then print. You might have to close the print window a couple times to get it set up like you want to print - the zoom, the location, the landscape/portrait orientation, etc. For black/white, when you click print, it will bring up your printer's properties window. Set it to black/white in there. If you need a bigger area that will be on several pages, you can do that by sliding the map around to see a different area as long as you have common points on both to match. Don't adjust the zoom. After printing you can match the pages and tape them together.
