I have a Sako 75 Mark V actioned Finnlight chambered in 300 wsm. Not sure if I will rebarrel it but if I do can I go to a 300 RUM or 338 Edge with the magazine or would I need to go to a floorplate? I would prefer the magazine. I haven't even shot it yet so it may stay a 300 WSM just thinking out loud.

I have a Sako 75 V action in 300 RUM. It has a hinged floor plate instead of a detachable magazine. Cartridge O.A.L. Is 3.725. I don't think you can get the length you need from a detachable magazine.

Thanks Dink, I may just keep it a WSM. I just think to much. I will probably drop it into an uninletted EH3. My friend at Duplin Rifles said he could inlet for any action and Manners said they would sell me an uninletted blank.
