We drew archery elk in 34! Our first choice too.
There's 2 dates they carve on your tombstone.
Everyone knows what they mean.
What's more important is time that is known
as the little dash inbetween.

Congrats to you guys who drew. Again, I didn't and haven't since 2010 and I live here!!!! I don't know unit 16 but I know 34 very well and have taken a few out of there. There are some big boys in there so shoot straight!

Mark Wife and I rifle hunted 5B in 2009. Saw elk every day, biggest was a 5x6 maybe would've scored a little over 300. We were hunting close to the Jicarilla. I got a 4x4 and she got a decent 5x5. Good numbers, not any bigguns.
