I killed mine in Butler County at 6:12 this am. I'll put my name in the contest for fastest KY kill this am!

I got super luck this AM and had mine come off the roost and nearly into my lap!
I'd rather be lucky than good. Dropped the hammer at 7am in Nicholas Co. Ky. I think my 7am is you Western Ky guys 6am. Sadly I shredded the beard.

Well, I didn't even hear a gobble Saturday morning. Now I gotta wait until I can get back down there. The last week of April's going to be run hard between IN and KY!

I'm done! I enjoyed hunting this year. The weather has been nice and the birds were cooperative. Tagged out, time to eat some turkey!

Yep! I'm impressed with the 20ga. 37 and 33 yards respectively. They dropped like hammers.

FWIW -- I watched two more birds roost tonight. I crossed the bottom field for this one. When I got back to the house this morning Stephanie informed me there was a bird strutting behind the pond. I actually heard gobbling behind the house after I got set up. I walked half a mile and could have walked 50 yards!

There are plenty of birds left for you....
