When it comes to little boys and comical inappropriate behavior, laughter is like praise and encouragement on steroids. One giggle outweighs a thousand stern faced no's and at least a dozen swats on the hiney.

Therefor, you are simply screwed on this one. Because it is not possible to iliminate the giggles in this situation.

I'd look into a bissel upright carpet cleaner. We like ours, use it a lot.

My three sons did the same thing when little and in diapers. We were lucky since we had sculptured carpet with different colors and shades. Would not have liked to have low nap single color carpet then. Best advice is to get a good carpet cleaner as ND suggested and enjoy the show.

My 6 year old boys still pee outside at every opportunity. And why not? as boys, the world is our urinal. Everytime it happens, I say, "that's MY BOY!". The wife doesnt find it quite as comical.

We did have moderate success with saying that birds eat worms and if that thing is hanging out too long, a bird might get it.

Who do you think taught my 2yo how to do it?

Mama bear & I both have a hard time containing the laughter when that stuff happens.

If you can keep the praise to a minimum the phase will pass & there will be a new trick to show off.

my son loves to pee in the yard and tells me I should. I told him we live in town and the neighbors wouldn't think it was as funny if I did it smile he'll be 6 in august. I'm proud of him, he'll even drop his pants to his ankles and laugh while he twists like he's shooting down imaginary fighter planes, kinda makes me jealous.

thankfully he never had a problem whipping it out on the carpet. he did like it when I tumbled brass though. he realized if he stood right next to the tumbler and leaned forward a little, that vibrating action felt really good. I'd always catch him standing there. I got a picture somewhere, it was freakin hilarious! I think he was about 2 at the time.

If I did that, I'd twist my knee, throw my back out, and pee all over myself! laugh

However they are also bringing their own little fellow out the top of the diapers......and walking around the house letting everyone know "wee wee out....wee wee out"

At first I did think this was kind of funny, but cleaning carpets is getting a bit old. So I need some sort of a garage type fix for this, I have thought about those Chinese finger trick things placed somewhere other than a finger, but that idea was met with a stern NO from my wife....

If nobody has any good solutions I will be having a carpet cleaning party at my house in the near future, you are all invited... smile

Does anybody want to talk about the fresh blanket of snow we all got yesterday?

What?

You mean it was just us?

Oh I do feel special now.

confused

roads are crap, some houses lost power, the trees in the yard look like they are going to break over from the weight of the snow.

that's just a hard spring frost Dave, just seems worse because you've had a pretty easy winter this year wink

Sure. Was it a fuzzy blanket? Electric? Did it have cartoon looking cows on it?
