I am raising my overall arrow weight and going to a heavy broadhead. Any reason I can't shoot the crossbow 150gr version through my compound?

No reason not to. All it is is a heavier version of the slick trick with a bigger ferrule.

No reason it shouldn't work.

No reason at all that i see. As always when adding weight to front of an arrow, ensure you are still properly spined. Weight to the front serves to weaken the dynamic spine.

Thinking of going to the 175 myself. Gives me around 195 up front and still in spine.

Yes they will work fine but, WHY?

If you are shooting 45lb or more you should be getting pass thru's. Once the head is thru it can't do anymore damage no matter how much it weights.

More FOC for better arrow flight? Maybe just a heavier finished arrow for more kinetic energy?
OP, keep in mind your spine May need to change for heavier broadheads.

No that is a myth, yes you need FOC but not that much. Like I said how much KE do you need if a 100gr or 125gr at 45lb will get you a pass thru?
