After BSing with a pard out West I decided to try. Odin Works SS 18" Wylde chambered barrel on a new top end I was putting together for my son. I ordered from PA and like clockwork it was at my door in 2 days.

This is a mid weight (2.534) 8 twist, rifle length that comes with a low profile gas block.
This particular tube was right at $250 and they have what they call a 3 gun version for around $275

After receiving the tube I completely cleaned in and then treated the bore with Dyna Bore Coat. 1st and only range session was nice. I fired 48 rounds thu the new tube. It performed well. The 1st 10 shots were Fiocchi 55 gr. FMJ and the rest were 75 gr. Hornady HPBT. It appeared this tube will shoot just as good as I can. .5 can't be that far away.

Returned home and shot the tube full of wipeout and let sit 1 hour. I used 8 patches to. Clean it up. Mostly carbon!

Friend has a bore scope and I hope to see what's what with that.

As off right now I am satisfied with my Odin Works barrel.

RTA, thanks for the report.
I just picked up a 10 1/2" Wylde chambered barrel for my "wife's" new Sig Brace "pistol".

I'd be interested if you, or anyone else has any more updates on Odin barrels.

I've seen the 3 gun version you referred to. I'm thinking one of those might end up on my GP rig.

I have been satisfied with this barrel. I have shot it hard on 5 different occasions and it handled the abuse well.

With Hornady 75 gr. HPBT ahead of TAC powder it is more than capable.

So far no complaints and would recommend one for the price.

I've got a heavier weight Odin barrel on my wife's 3gun AR and it has performed flawlessly over the past couple years. It shoots just fine with everything from 53gr VMax to 77gr SMK.

Thanks RB.

That's good to know.
