OP bruinruin Campfire Ranger Joined: Mar 2006 Posts: 19,504 Tip of the Mitten	I stole away for couple hours yesterday evening and spent some time on the lake nearby. I launch my 14 foot boat at the end of the road we live along using my quad for a tow vehicle. No pics, but I landed 3 pike and one nice walleye that measured a bit over 21" while trolling lures that my kids gave me for my birthday back in April. It didn't suck. 4 out of 5 Great Lakes prefer Michigan.

I always have to use the lures my kids give me as gifts because they are going to ask if I have caught anything on them, then I usually put them up to keep from losing them. A gun in the hand is worth more than the entire police force on the phone.
