Reeled this ol' girl in this morning after somewhat of a struggle. A LOT of fun to catch on light tackle (8 lb test and light spinning rod), especially when a fish this size is going on runs and getting air. Just using an old faithful Culprit worm.

Other interesting fishing experiences this weekend: caught a 5 lb catfish on a culprit worm (NEVER have caught a cat on an artificial worm before. Spinner, yes, worm, no), and a friend caught a 10 lb grass carp with a hotdog and a bobber. Think I had just finished explaining to her how carp don't typically bite lures ...
