That perspective is great. I just recently found I can do some pano with my canon 9000MKII and I can do 4x8's with my Canon iP100. First 4x8 I did spoiled me! Did this at a field trial and I really liked it. I think the secret is that we really do see in panoramic and it appears more natural to us, well me anyway!

I agree.. most people if you watch closely are drawn to the pano's...
16X9 and 16X10
I just recently had a 10X20 printed and even though the photo wasn't the best (technically) people drooled over it. I think because as you say... it is more natural.
Ahh.. field trials ;-)

I had an HP 13" that would do 13x44 photo's. I did a number of 8x20 and 10x20. Also some 12x30's. Pano really to me makes a big difference. The idea of the 4x8 for certain photo's really got me. Couple more 4x8's. First one is in one of my barnwood frames. I did this in 4x8 and 9x18. This dog was just sent on a retrieve. Jumps right into the picture rather than at a blank wall.

Ya know, one more thing I'd like to say is the position of the horse is just right. Put that horse in the same position but on the other side and I'd have a problem with it. Really nice photo! Do you print your own? 9x16 and 10x16 are not what I'd call common. I like the advantage of being able to crop as I want and print the same way.

I go through MPix... The crop of this photo for print actually just cuts off a bit of either side... here's the "final" 10X20 .. I had to resize to upload here...
