well here my second and third try at a pocket knife, thanks bret for the help.

this is a ivory knife I made for my wife for Christmas, forgot to take pics and shes been carrying it since then so its scratched up some now.

this is the third try, i'll just say there are sure a lot more things on a slip joint to mess up then on a fixed blade

for most people these folders look very simple . having watched the whole process is a real eye opener & i can say with certainty that it takes a real commited person to tackle this job. cranky72

thanks guys, f not for bret dowell I wouldn't have even tried fixed blades and without his help and answers to all my questions there is no way I could do the slip joints even if I had the tools.

bret is a good friend and a great teacher, I tip my hat to him for all he has done for me, even if my kid likes him better then he likes me, ha

Welcome to slip joints. Seems you can mess one up by just looking at it wrong.

Nice knives... Looking at the cartridge box in the picture reminds me of an old lady that I know who lives on a fair size farm in the country that kills a couple deer each year with an old iron sighted .351 Winchester semi-auto.

Those are nice. Like the buckeye knife the best. Sheaths look good too.
