That is one beautiful CZ!!!!!! If it shoots as good as my CZ 550 American, I would never sell that sob...
I try to stick with the basics, they do so well. Nothing fancy mind you, just plain jane will get it done with style. You want to see an animal drop right now? Shoot him in the ear hole. BSA MAGA

My BRNO has one of Ed LaPour's safeties and a factory single stage trigger. Can't see why they do the set trigger on a big bore.

Ed, I really like that rifle buddy. I don't understand the reason for a set trigger on a "dangerous" game rifle either. My 9.3x62 is an older CZ with the adjustable single stage trigger and I really like it. It breaks very clean and is adjusted to 2 3/8 pounds and I get ample accuracy from that rifle (let's just say it's a consistent "sub moa" shooter)...

Ed, I really like that rifle buddy. I don't understand the reason for a set trigger on a "dangerous" game rifle either.... Me either, and I can't use it anyway. My hand is relatively small and setting the trigger puts it too far forward for a comfortable grip on the wrist stock. Besides, the adjustability on the "normal" trigger is very good and it can be cranked down to very light.
Whatever you said...everyone knows you are a lying jerk. That's a bold assertion. Point out where you think I lied. Well?

Many good setups. I put a 2.5-10 Leica ER on my 375 ruger Alaskan (laminate stock version) with stainless medium ruger rings. I very much like the package and took it on a brown bear hunt last fall (not successful). Liked the combo so much decided to take a doe with it in the PA deer season.

Nothing fancy: Blaser R8 but the scope is a new to me, a Leup VXR 2-7x with the circle-Fire Dot ballistic reticle. But the trigger and the "irons" on a Blaser are excellent from the box. And of course the proprietary ring/base set are QR

My MRC 375 H&H has a Kahles 1.5x6x42 in Warne QD mounts and my 375 Ruger has a 1.5x6x42 S&B.

Last year, my Whitworth .375 Holland wore an old Leupold 2x7, and it worked quite nicely for a 17-animal buff/PG hunt. Prior to the 2x7, it wore a Conquest 1.8x5.5, which was optically excellent but heavy and bulky.
This year, I bought a Zeiss Conquest 2.5x8 off EBay. It is much smaller than the other Conquest and the eyebox is even better than the Leupy (which ain't too shabby on its own). It sits in Weaver rings which, with a coin, can be removed to gain access to the express sights.
I'm going back to Africa next month for a dagga boy and more PG. The Whitworth and the Conquest combo should do well, I'm sure, especially with the redundancy of the Leupold as a back-up scope, as well as the factory express sights.
Always tinkering.....
I was hoarding when hoarding wasn't cool.

I have a Ruger Alaskan 375. I have killed 2 bull elk with it. It wore a Leupy 1.5-5 when I killed the elk in the Ruger rings. Since then I got rid of the Hogie stock and put it in a new Hawkeye synthetic. Also put a Leupy European-30 2-7 on it with Leupold rings. The scope came off a 358 Norma I no longer have, but it has my initials on the turret cap and an elk engraved on the objective bell courtesy of my wife and Leupolds custom shop. I usually shoot Hornady 270 SP for elk but I have some 250 Sierra gamekings loaded up I hope to smack a whitetail buck with this year.

I just installed a VX3 2.5-8x36 in low Ruger rings on my .375 Ruger Alaskan. It's going to be a North American big game rifle more than a DG rifle so I went a more versatile power range on the scope.

My black 375 Ruger Alaskan used to wear a Bushnell 4200 1.5-6X in factory Ruger rings, but now it wears a nice simple, light Leupold FXII 4x33 in low Alaska Arms LLC QD rings.

Here's my MRC in a McMillan stock. Rifle was built by Hill Country Rifles. Scope is a Leupold 1.5-6X in Talley QDs. Bob

I was planning on using them for deer, bear and elk. I get an average of 2777fps with the factory ammo out of my 20" barrel 375 Ruger Guide Gun.

Sure, the bolt handle is on the wrong side for you anyway. Maybe you should sell that ugly truck rifle to me for real cheap...
