I just got one of these. It's easy to use and does the job right.

I was hesitant to buy one because of the battery "thing",...but these things are what the weed whacker market has gone to. They work *good*.

just about anything you can find laying around the garage

mix it up
put it in the sprayer
and create a planet of the apes forbidden around the fence line

i've had good luck with gator wire, it's a braided type versus the usual type weedwhacker line.

those boys of mine can't seem to tell the difference from hog wire and weeds

though they appear to have come by it honest, I get a bit too close to stuff trying to get a close trim as well.
