Were you self-taught or did someone teach you the ropes?
By the way, love the ones with copper hardware ... I'm a sucker for copper on a knife!

I am self taught. With internet and books as my guides.
I love copper as well. I like putting copper hardware and copper liners on a knife. Looks quite nice in my opinion.

Good looking knives. I really like the combination of wood with micarta bolsters. Knives that look like that sure need a makers mark on them!

The first knife in your first post, the handle has an interesting shape and angles. What did you have in mind and how is it different in use? I like the blades, you make steel serious.

I was just going for something a little different than the norm. It is a little more angular than a typical knife handle but being a fighter I didn't want it to look too elegant if that makes sense. Overall hard to explain, but this picture I hope shows how it is supposed to fit in your hand. The rifle is a Marlin 1893 in 38-55

5thshock - Your right your hand just fits perfect in that shape.
The wood is redwood burl and bolster is black paper micarta. And that big blade is awesome I can only hope it turns out well. It is a 9.5" blade.
