Unless it came out of the custom shop, Remington did not offer a model 700 chambered in 257 Roberts in the "70's".

The only uncatalogued run of BDLs that I know of was a Lew Horton series of 500 that came out in 1990.
Good luck with your search. The 257 Roberts is a favorite of mine.

Your all wrong. Remington made 5 different variances of 257 bob 3 BDLs long action, short action, and lew horton special, and 2 mtn rifles, one short action and one long action.
