I am getting ready to replace my injectors and might want to look at some aftermarket ones. Anyone ever upgraded theirs from stock Ford injectors?

Let us know how the upgrade performs and what parts you used.

Depending on where your are in AZ, strictly diesel is a good shop. Take your time and look for the copper crush rings. Make sure they come out if you have new ones, you may have to reuse the old ones.

My 99 ran crappy and started hard for years. Took them out and sent them to Rosewood diesel about 6months ago.It runs and starts excellent.

I put PIS injectors in. They are single shot style. This required new tunes as the fuel timing is greatly advanced. I cannot pull a hill with a trailer right now without the EGTs getting too high. I have a new Turbocharger coming maybe tomorrow. Should fix the problem. So far I am into this about $5000. One thing leads to another...

I had to replace my up pipes, pedestal, rebuild the original turbo, new tunes, injectors, oil change, fuel filter change, gaskets, wiring harnesses, high flow induction pipes, EBPV delete housing, new waste gate, new impeller...

Now I am just getting the biggest turbo that will drop onto it.

Ok, I have the upgraded Garrett turbo now installed and all the boost leaks fixed. With the tunes, 4" turbo back exhaust, cold air intake and large injectors I can break my rear tires loose for at least 50 yards (my truck got sideways at this point). I can't wait to see how it does on hills and towing.
