Cute. How'd you come to have a fox? Not a typical pet.

Have trapped and called them for a long time. I always enjoy watching their activity , and think they are one of the neatest animals.

When I lived on Long Island, I enjoyed the rare occasions when I'd see them. They liked the hill in the far back of our property, which buttressed a ten acre woodlot.

I scored a hell of a good bull on camera too, and I watched a sow grizzly dig a giant hole in 3 minutes flat.

here is a teaser on the bull.....I have some cool pics of bulls coming soon.

They are pretty neat. There are tons of them in the Western Idaho farm country around Payette and also we have lots and lots of them here in Boise. It's not uncommon to see one walking down the sidewalk in the early morning hours just a few blocks from the Capitol building.

There is no doubt, you're a much better photographer than I, but at least I didn't have to go searching for a fox. It was on my deck not too long ago, eating my red peppers.

Great photos. I live in Reston, Va. just outside of DC & the area is loaded with red foxes. Residents have no idea at the number of foxes, coons, & groundhogs they share the community with. I typically see 5-6 foxes when returning home from work after mid-night.

I remember my uncle having one for a pet many years ago. Coolest "wild" pet ever. More like a kitten..

Back in June we were vacationing at the Delaware Indian River inlet campground and every evening there was a guy there with his pet fox. Fox was leashed to the handrail while the guy and his wife fished. Pretty cool little animal, loved playing with kids.

It's not a pet. I ran across a den in Alaska and took a few minutes to bang some pics...lol.

You didn't happen to get any pictures of the bear digging the hole did you? I'd like to see that.

we have two in our neighborhood. They seem to enjoy burrowing in the large concrete storm drains we have.

The rabbit population is up this year and I haven't seen them since the spring. I'd hate to think they'd died off.

Every year I would see several red and grey fox on my property and very few rabbits. This year there are more rabbits than ever and I haven't one fox at all. I've also noticed a lot more woodchuck around that in previous years too.

Great pics. I'd like to see pics of the digging bear if you have any!

I used to work at the USGS and on the way back home on Sunrise Valley, I would see a few scampering across. Very pretty.
