I am wanting to install better recoil pads on a couple of rifles, and I'm partial to red. I am quite fond of the 1" Decelerators. Can anyone confirm that the Pachmayr Old English grind to fit pad is comparable to the Decelerator in firmness? Are there any other options, especially ones that may not require fitting?

They are made of identical material so far as I can discern. I have several and they are my favorite recoil pad, classy and effective.
