I have the Mini 14 Target Rifle with the laminated thumbhole stock.
I want to mount a Harris Bipod on it. What I am looking for is information on the best way to mount the Bipod.
Harris does have an adaptor for the Mini 14 but in their information it states, "will not work on Mini 14 Target Rifle."
Anyone have a Bipod mounted on one of these rifles, if so, could you provide information on how you mounted it?

You should be able to install a sling swivel stud in the forend. If it is to long, dremel it flush.

Mine has a sling swivel on the front but I've never tried to put my Harris on it. I'll be back home later today. I'll try to mount it and let you know how well it works.

There's a good "chance" that a Harris will mount to a stud.
