Folks:
I have a 1971 vintage 444T (monte carlo, 24" barrel, etc.). It's not my favorite rifle, but I thought I'd give it another go a time or two this season (feral hogs). I've topped it with a Redfield Revolution 2-7x33 since my eyes aren't what they once were. I know this rifle has the slower twist, but was wondering if any of you have shot the Leverevolution rounds through one. How does it perform? My rifle handles the 265gr Superformance loads fine.
Thanks
Mike

Here's a little sow I took a couple of years ago with a factory Remington .240. The photo is a bit grainy as it was taken with a cellphone and it had gotten pretty dark. But the old 444T did the trick. Once again living proof that you really don't need camouflage all the time.

My 444s shoot both the 265 gr. Superperformance and the 265 Leverevolutions to the same POI. Some argue that the FTXs are two destructive on meat and often do not exit and leave a blood trail. The Superperformance is the favored round by many.

I think Hornady may have discontinued the Superformance 265gr .444.
