I have a post 64 featherweight in 6.5x55 with two piece metal. The shooter who usually uses this rifle needs a shorter LOP. I really hate to cut down the original stock, but will if I have no other option.

I've looked low and high for another OEM stock to no avail, new or used. Everything seems to be for SA calibers.

What is the net.wisdom on a good choice here? The shooter prefers wood, but I am not going the full custom route. I don't mind spending a few $$ though.

Thoughts?
