Can any of you folks recommend a aftermarket mount,such as Eagle or B-Square?Or should I have it d&t'ed?
Not looking to make it a long range varmint rifle,just something to make it easier for old eyes.

I put the Ultimak scout/picatinny forend on mine. That and a Choate compensator. It closely resembles a mini-socom now.

It's a very good set up for an optical sight such as an Eotech holo or other red dot or scout scope. You can see them here:

I've been using the B-Square on my Series 182 GB Mini 14 for several years. I have an older 4x Redfield Widefield on it, and it works just fine.
