Mathman, that's about right, I hear. Just a smidgen higher - kind of helping the 7x57 along so it can hang with the .270 for dik-diks.

DesertMuleDeer: I began buying Rifle scopes with Du-Plex reticles back in 1962 when Leupold invented them - the standard or fine Du-Plex reticle is my favorite to this day.
I own and use MANY dozens of them currently!
Having said that I would not own one of the "wide" Du-Plex reticled scopes if someone were to try and give me one (aahh... maybe I would accept it - but then I would immediately trade it off for a scope with the fine Du-Plex reticle).
Worthless to me, is how I would describe the "wide" Du-Plex.
