anywhere online to figure out scope clearance? I have a vx-6 2x12x42 waiting to go on a remington 700. I want to get the seekins rings just not sure what height, I believe the lows will work but want to be sure before buying them.

Robes, I don't think there is going to be a definitive source for the exact info you're looking for. The best place to get in the ball park would probably be Seekins. There are a lot of variables. If the mod.700 has a factory sporter contour bbl. Seekins may can give you a pretty good idea what a 42mm non-AO 30mm tube Leupold would require, but I doubt such a chart exists. I don't have any Seekins rings/mounts, but I really like the looks of them.
