Its the buck with the big eye guards and cheaters. I was set up glassing across canyon and everybody that 4 wheeled by wanted to stop and talk.
My Lieutenant and his son both have tags and his son missed the 2nd best deer(4x4) at just over 40 yards but it wasn't a gimme shot. My LT had ranged him at 39 and he took a few steps, maybe 7 or 8 total, and the deer was closer to 45. His son shot just underneath him
Good bucks for sure,Drum. Notice the big boy move up behind and bump his jr to make him move on. Big white tails will do that too, including thrashing brush behind a younger buck to move him ahead into questionable territory.
