With a fast twist 22.250, I was wondering, why does the campfire seem to tout and love the 75 A Max... but no one ever talks about the 80 grain Version...

My 22.250 seems to like the 80 A Max for accuracy over the 75 grain version... In fact it likes the 75 grain BTHP better than the 75 A Max also... but ties the 80 grain version for accuracy...

They are each available in boxes of 600 from Hornady, each for a few bucks less than $100...

You are at the mercy of your means, faculties and comprehension.

Which is only enough to reliably arrange hilarity.

Bless your heart.............

Seafire,
I use the 80gr amax in my swift and love it.
Then I read on the campfire how awesome the 75 amax was so tried it and didn't get the accuracy the 80gr gave me.

Don't listen to stick, boxer.... or whatever he calls himself these days.
He is a multiple personality wack job, who needs professional help crazy

Perhaps you two Clueless Kchunts had best post pics of your exemplary wares, you use to make such "determinations". Laughing!

Looking forward to both the Whine and the Excuses, though in no particular order.

Hint................

Nice rams, congratulations to those hunters.
But where are YOUR ram pic's?

Being an Alaskan resident I believe you could purchase over the counter tags??

A great hunter such as yourself should have several "book" rams?
Maybe you spend too much time posting and not enough time hunting??
So who is using there imagination too much?

How about some "book" caribou? moose? grizzly bear?.....

Awwww Schmuck's an alright guy....

yeah he does have multiple personalities.....

If you think about those personalities all together, then Schmuck is a lot easier to handle...

When you read his posts... think Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam and Elmer Fudd all rolled into one character and VOILA! ya GOT good old Schmuck....Schtick for his groupies...

That's what the rest of us thought....

Glad to see you finally own up to it...

for you, I predict it will be a long journey...

they got any 12 step programs there in Nowhere AK? with all the drunks up there, you'd think so... it would a target rich environment for an AA Group...

Those are some nice trophy rams! Good thing those guys had those particular guns, in 22-250Ackley, shooting Amax 75s. Certainly, a 450yd shot like that couldn't be made with a Savage 243, or 257, or a 260, or a 270, any other caliber shooting core-lokt, or ballistic tips, or hot-cor, etc. That is certain. It is great those guys had all your wonderful help, Stick. They owe those rams to you. In fact, you should just claim them. Yep, you took those trophies, with all your superior knowledge and skill.

I prolly missed a few,but I can't always remember what I've got barking.

Fairly certain, there may have been a few flavors of bullets R&D'd.

Hell...might even be some similar blueprints kicking around.
