The 75 has no equal, anywhere or at any angle.

About the only time I get versatile is when I pull away with the left hand...."The Stranger", as it were.... Use both hands and you'll have a three-way.

You could make a lot of 222 Mags from 204 cases....without fireforming...but that's just a WAG... You'd have to set the shoulder back, not sure about trimming. MUCH easier to open .204 to .224 and just rock and roll. DF

If the 80's('Max or Berger) shined,I'd simply shoot 'em. They do not,so I do not...nor do I know anyone who does.
You are ALWAYS going to be best served by taking notes and applying same.
Hint.
Laughing!...........

Technically, I guess every piece of virgin brass fired for the first time is fire formed to the chamber. I never tried to make a .222 mag round out of a .204 case. Just look at the specs. I think the .22-204 shoulder is a bit forward of the .222 mag shoulder, thus the set back. aalf has posted photos of the differences, has done a lot of work with the .22-204. Do a search and you'll find those photos. DF

Pard is going the other way, turning Deuce Mag to 204...because the only 204 brass he could score was Hornady and it was ABSOLUTE phuqqing junk.............

Well, Deuce Mag is all Remington, if you can find any...
And, Horn. isn't the only .204 brass out there.

Not much diff, really, between a 223 AI, 222 Mag and a 22-204 so far as burning powder and the results. Something to beat dicks over... I don't think Al ever had a 222 Mag. case. One trip through an FL die, set up correctly, will give 110% positive headspace. 222 Mag, 222 Mag Ackley, and a 22-204 mock.
