The European Space Agency will launch two communications satellites aboard an Ariane 5 launcher today Sept 11 at 5:20 pm EDT. Daytime launches are fairly uncommon from this spaceport, so this may be a good one to watch. Webcast starts at 5 pm EDT HERE

Some interesting info from the commentary, too. Including the fact that nearly 500 communications satellites have been launched over the years. You think satellite TV, radio, and data are small potatoes? Not hardly.
