Walt's been good for my post count and a bunch of laughs. My wife works with the developmentally challenged and she thinks walt would be one of her individuals if he lived nearby.

Nothing to discredit it was a vote to add a non-binding amendment, on UN 2117, to a budget bill. Half truths make big lies. Besides UN 2117 clearly states each country retains sovereignty over firearms within its territory. Its really to get a handle on the illegal weapons/munitions trade; can we throw in nuclear proliferation here. The US has signed the treaty but the Senate has not ratified it. And this vote being pushed here had nothing to do with ratification because whenever that comes along the republicans will do so. Like I said nothing but a half truth or better yet a misdirection all together. Just to make things clear on UN 2117, the only countries to not sign the treaty are Iran and North Korea and one other buggaboo that I forget. If you like them as company well thats your choice.

So Mog, you can do a google yourself on "UN resolution 2117" or carry on with the ladies gossip here.

The end of democracy, and the defeat of the American Revolution will occur when government falls into the hands of lending institutions and moneyed incorporations.

No doubt about it the democrats will disarm the american public. It's just a matter of doing it one step at a time. Looks like the next step is getting close (registration).

This. ^

This Bullschit has been refuted so many times I've lost count. It also continues to be brought up regularly by idiots who get their 'news' from emails and FOX. Is it any wonder this country is f'ed up? Stupid (and lazy) people abound...and they vote....and reproduce....

It ain't what you don't know that makes you an idiot...it's what you know for certain, that just ain't so...

Most people don't want to believe the truth~they want the truth to be what they believe.

Stupidity has no average...

Kudos to Sen. Imhofe for pushing the issue as the US should not cede it right to buy/sell/trade firearms to whatever country it deems credible. Furthermore, if anyone here on the "left" believes that this would stop any transactions, you are crazy!

My home is the "sanctuary residence" for my firearms.
