A while ago I was able to buy an 8 pound jug of this powder very reasonably. It was stuck away until some 223 reloads were needed. Surprised to find it is not even listed in the current Alliant book. A few loads (very few) are available online. It appears to be very close to AR Comp with heavier bullets OR did they just change the name from Varmint to Power Pro Varmint ?

Varmint or Power Pro Varmint, Same powder.... looks in the H 335-BLC2-W748 burn rate arena... if you can't find load data, here's a link at Alliant for it... http://www.alliantpowder.com/reloaders/Powder.aspx?powderid=30

typeitout,
Go to the Alliant website and click on "Products." Varmint will be listed under rifle powders. If you click on Varmint, a page will come up including a link called "View All Varmint Recipes." It shows Varmint data for 9 cartridges from the .222 Remington to the .30-30 Winchester.
