this might be the fix for the ruger American rifle magazine in .223 not being long enough. if you scroll down, on the left bottom of this article it shows the 300 blackout magazine with a cutout in the front...maybe ruger can/will make these available to guys who want a long mag for seating longer bullets out. http://www.gunblast.com/Ruger-AmericanRR.htm

Negatory.....the current factory 223 mag has the same cut out.
I enjoy handguns and I really like shotguns,...but I love rifles!
