I am thinking about trying the 80gr Barnes TTSX in the .250-3000 99A to use as a deer load. The Barnes site is down so does anyone have a good recipe?

No data for you, but my advice is to cross reference Barnes data with other manufacturers bullets of similar weights. I had a bad experience the other day where their data was 6 grains hotter than comps, and I didn't cross reference before trying Barnes loads.

Scope eye.

Heck, how would we know you're a REAL shooter if you don't have a "Weatherby Crescent" on your eyebrow? Sorta like a Masonic ring or a secret handshake!

Seriously, I'm always interested in the performance of Barnes and other "unleaded" bullets in traditional calibers, since we are now required to use them for all rifle and handgun hunting in my area. Haven't tried the 80 gr. Barnes yet, though.
