I have a Browning 1885 BPCR in 45-70 and never paid much attention before until I got to reading something online about the High Wall's having a cartridge deflector, just back of thee trigger. Mine doesn't have that? I thought all 1885's were of the high wall type?

The Browning B-78 high wall has a ejector and the 85 BPCR like you have has an extractor. How in the world are you ever going to learn how to hold and shoot that fine rifle using a MeeeeOW lead sled??

That Sled was a foolish idea early on and has been abandoned long ago. i've got something a bit better for all calibers and styles of rifles...and a nice 17 pound rear bag to match.
